The problem
Manual invoice approval is slow and inconsistent, but full automation without human review carries risk on uncertain cases.

Built the end-to-end workflow, including extraction, decisioning and human-in-the-loop routing.
Highlights
- Downloads new PDF invoices and extracts structured fields with Document Understanding
- Sends extracted data to an AI decision agent and moves qualifying invoices to an Approved folder
- Routes uncertain cases to a human-in-the-loop Action App task, then to Approved or Rejected
Outcome
Built a working workflow that automates routine invoice approvals while keeping uncertain cases in front of a human reviewer.
